Steve Kotzer - eMail Steve
Steve is co-owner of Litchfield Building Center with Dennis Gartner. He was born and raised in Litchfield MN and resides in Litchfield with his wife Amy and three sons Dylan, Drew and Drake. Steve started in the lumber business seventeen years ago for 1st Choice Lumber in Hutchinson MN where he worked as a yard guy and a service counter employee then switched companies and went to work in his home town for Ideal Lumber Company where he started on the service counter then moved to outside sales before purchasing Litchfield Lumber with his business partner Dennis in 2004. They then changed the name to Litchfield Building Center. Steve besides running day to day operations specializes in sales. Steve enjoys spending time with his family and three very active sons. Steve on free time likes to catch college or professional sporting events or a good country concert and is an avid softball player. One of Steve's greatest accomplishments at Litchfield Building Center is his work force; he states "that Dennis and I have surrounded our company with just not employees but exceptional people that make this business a continued success with great customer service and knowledge".

Dennis Gartner - eMail Dennis
Dennis is co-owner of Litchfield Building Center with Steve Kotzer. He grew up near Park Rapids, Minnesota on a family dairy farm. Dennis has a long history in the sawmill and building industry starting at a sawmill near his home town. Dennis and his wife Renee have two children Kurt and Erika. Dennis stays involved in the community through the Chamber of Commerce and is actively involved in his local Rotary group. Dennis enjoys getting back to his roots by visiting his brothers dairy farm near Park Rapids and helping out whenever he can. He also enjoys getting together with his extended family during the hunting season, for holidays and for other occasions when time allows. Dennis does day to day operations as well as purchasing and sales at Litchfield Building Center. Dennis believes that Litchfield Building Center has excelled in business because of the quality people they employ and the exceptional customer service we strive to achieve. Dennis truly does believe in Litchfield Building Centers motto of "Building on Small Town Pride".

Chad Shoultz - eMail Chad
Chad has worked at Litchfield Building Center since May, 2004. Chad started out working in the yard delivering and running the boom truck. After two years of hard work and dedication to customer service, Chad began running the front counter as well as hardware and paint sales. In the summer of 2011, Chad began concentrating his efforts towards outside sales and customer service. Chad enjoys spending time with his wife Stacy and daughter Madison and is an avid outdoorsman. Glendon Caron - eMail Glendon
Glendon has been here since the beginning. Glendon works with customers on many different jobs like roofing, siding, windows and much more. Glendon is married to his wife, Trisha, and has two children, Lia and Olive. Michelle Larson - eMail Michelle
Michelle joined Litchfield Building Center as the Bookkeeper in August of 2005. She grew up and lives in Litchfield with her husband, Jeremy and daughter, Madison. Michelle's daughter, Ali and son-in-law, Zack reside in Fargo, ND. After high school, Michelle went on to pursue a degree in Accounting. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, reading, scrapbooking and keeps very busy with Madison's sporting activities.

Dan Minton- eMail Dan
Dan has worked at LBC since 2008. He is a Litchfield High School and Ridgewater College,Carpentry program graduate with over ten years of carpentry work. experience. Dan first began working in the yard at LBC and after three years he moved inside, in June 2011, where he now works at the front counter along, with paint and hardware sales. Dan enjoys spending time with his wife Tammy and family, golfing, and hunting. Striving to make your experience at LBC the best it can be is Dan's top priority. Andy Gilbertson- eMail Andy
Andy has worked for Litchfield Building Center as an outside salesmen since April of 2009. He was born and raised in Litchfield and graduated from Litchfield High School in 2006. He continued his education at Alexandria Technical College where he graduated with a degree in Carpentry. In his spare time, Andy enjoys working on carpentry and concrete projects, coaching and playing hockey, biking, snowmobiling and four-wheeling.

Tim Johnson- eMail Tim
Tim joined the Litchfield Building Center team in the fall of 2007. Growing up in Tomah, Wisconsin and has enjoyed living in Litchfield since 2002. Tim has experience in log home construction, sales, estimating, drafting and design. He attended North Central Technical College in Wausau, Wisconsin where he earned an Associates Degree for architectural-residential design in 2002. Tim's hobbies include hunting, fishing, playing softball and spending any free time with his wife, Anne, three boys, Ethan, Dylan and Colin, and daughter Brooklin. At LBC, he does drafting, estimating, sales and IT support. Tim strives to help customers achieve their project needs and wants from start to finish.

Dave Gorham- eMail Dave
Dave has worked for Litchfield Building Center since Oct 2009 as a Designer/Estimator. He moved into the New LBC Hutchinson Office when it opened in Jan of 2010 located at 132 Main Street South in Hutchinson. The Office/Showroom is located in the rear entrance to the Kim Kotzer State Farm Insurance Building. Dave has been in the Construction Industry for 40 years with the last 22 spent in the Hutchinson Area Designing and selling Homes and Remodeling projects. He and his wife Sharon live in rural Darwin and enjoy traveling and spending time with the grandkids. His hobbies are fishing, hunting, and working around the yard.

Randy Werner- eMail Randy
Randy has worked in the building industry for over 35 years. The majority of the time has been spent within the carpentry trade. He worked as a carpentry journeyman and job foreman in the Twin Cities area as well as being an independent contractor in the Litchfield area. He joined LBC in 2005 as an estimator and salesman. He lives north of Litchfield with his wife, Carol. They have two sons and two grandchildren.

Justin Wendroth- eMail Justin
Justin has been the draftsman/designer at Litchfield Building Center since its doors opened. Prior to this, be worked in the same position at another lumber company. He attended Dunwoody Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he earned his Associate's degree in drafting and architectural design. Justin has studied architecture and constructlon techniques since his years growing up in Eden Valley, Minnesota. When not in the office or spending time with his wife Kari & sons William & Parker, he can be found with his nose in one of the newest construction magazines or building something. It is Justin's goal to understand his customer's wants and needs, and try to exceed them.

Dave Smith- eMail Dave
Dave joined the LBC team in April of 2012 and brings over 15 years’ experience in the building and construction field with him. He has grown up in Litchfield and worked in many different areas of the construction/carpentry industry making many small town connections here. He currently lives in Litchfield with his wife Angela and two kids, Taylar and Brenden. He holds a director position at the Darwin Rod and Gun club and enjoys hunting, fishing and the outdoors. He is also a proud member of the Litchfield Fire Department.

Missy Kohls - eMail Missy
Missy is born and raised in the Hutchinson area. She graduated from St. Cloud Technical College in 2004 with a degree in Architectural Construction Technology. She is married to her high school sweetheart and together they have one spoiled rotten English springer spaniel named Dixie. She enjoys fishing, camping, playing softball and spending time with her family. For the past 8 years she has worked for a different lumber company in the Hutchinson area. She is hard- working, honest and trustworthy. She has worked out in the field doing just about everything. So, if you need help with siding, windows, roofing, home design, remodeling, or that old deck just needs to be spiffed up; she’s your gal.
